Imported Marine BS-1088:
Manufactured to the international standard BS-1088, this form of imported Marine plywood utilises veneers from untreated tropical hardwood species that have a known level of resistance to fungal attack. BS-1088 Marine is produced with A Bond Phenol Formaldehyde which is often referred to as WBP. The faces should be free from imperfections and the edge should not contain core gaps.
Suitable for applications that require high quality faces. BS-1088 plywood can be overlaid with timber veneers which are often used in the internal fit-out of a boat along with furniture and wall & ceiling linings. BS-1088 Marine plywood should contain the manufacturers stamp on one face stipulating that it complies to the relevant standard.
